SOL-GLO gas lamp igniters are powered by a 7.2V, 2500 mAH Nimh battery pack. A fully charged battery provides up to 60 days of use, and has a life expectancy of 3 to 5 years.

Recommended maintenance is minimal. Simply wipe the solar panel clean with a damp rag once per year, and verify proper ignition and valve operation. SOL-GLO suggests battery pack replacement approximately every 3 years.
